The Parks & Recreation Department is seeking skilled and self-motivated workers for auxiliary positions setting up gymnastics equipment and teaching Gymnastics & Trampoline in our recreation programs. Queen’s Park Sportsplex offers progressive skill-based lessons for participants 2.5 years to adults.
If you have the following characteristics and qualifications, we want to hear from you:
- At least 15 years of age
- Experience setting up and moving gymnastics equipment and trampolines
- Experience working with children in a recreation setting
- Strong gymnastics or trampoline background
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting
- Ability to prepare and execute daily lesson plans
- Ability to give written evaluations of students
- Ability to successfully pass and maintain a clear Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector Check
- Previous related experience or course work within the field or recreation or teaching experience will be given priority.
- Applicants must be available for Saturday morning equipment set-up
