Role Description The Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in Hamilton, ON. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions with clients and internal stakeholders.
The Recruiter will build and maintain talent pipelines, post and update job advertisements, and manage candidate communication to ensure a positive experience. Daily tasks include collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, providing market insights, and maintaining accurate records in applicant tracking systems. The role also involves supporting onboarding activities, contributing to process improvements, and upholding company standards of integrity and client service.

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18–$25/hour + uncapped commission
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to placement and onboarding
- Help identify current business opportunities and assist with the client acquisition process within Hamilton and surrounding areas
- Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Identify hiring needs, present recruitment solutions, and help negotiate service agreements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service and ongoing account management
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients and candidates throughout the hiring process
- Work towards monthly recruitment and business development targets
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and recruitment efforts within the CRM system
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client staffing requirements
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience working in a staffing agency environment
- Prior experience in a client-facing recruitment, business development, account management, or sales role is preferred
- Cold calling, networking, and in-person client meetings
- Strong understanding of the full-cycle recruitment process
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
