We are seeking an experienced Red Seal Sheet Metal worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be a skilled, hands-on tradesperson with strong experience in commercial HVAC and sheet metal installation.

Responsibilities

- Install commercial HVAC ductwork and ventilation systems

- Install ductwork, fittings, VAV boxes, grilles, diffusers and related HVAC components

- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings and specifications

- Take accurate field measurements and make necessary on-site modifications

- Lay out, assemble and install sheet metal systems

- Coordinate installations with other mechanical and construction trades

- Identify and resolve installation issues in the field

- Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications and applicable codes

- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality control

- Help organize daily work and keep installations progressing according to schedule

- Follow all company and site safety requirements

Qualifications & Requirements





- Red Seal Certification as a Sheet Metal Worker required

- Proven experience with commercial HVAC and ductwork installation

- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings

- Experience taking field measurements and completing installations independently

- Strong knowledge of sheet metal installation methods, tools and equipment

- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in the field

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Leadership or crew-supervision experience is an asset

- Fall Protection certification preferred

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
