Commercial Refrigeration Technician

3rd- or 4th-Year Apprentice or Journeyperson

ADN Refrigeration is a growing, full-service commercial refrigeration company providing installation, service, and maintenance throughout the restaurant, cold-storage, hospitality, and retail industries.

We are expanding our Service Division and looking for an experienced, motivated refrigeration technician to join our team. We are especially interested in technicians who understand the importance of keeping restaurant kitchens and cold-storage operations running reliably.

What You’ll Do

- Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.
- Work on equipment in restaurants, commercial kitchens, cold-storage facilities, and other commercial environments.
- Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, and control-related issues.
- Repair or replace defective components, controls, wiring, and related equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Test and commission systems to ensure reliable operation and performance.
- Read and interpret refrigeration drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Complete accurate service reports and records.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other members of the ADN team.
- Follow company, job-site, and industry safety requirements.
- Work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.

What You Bring





- Third- or fourth-year refrigeration apprentice status, or journeyperson certification.
- At least three years of hands-on commercial refrigeration experience.
- Experience servicing refrigeration systems in restaurants and/or cold-storage facilities.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and controls knowledge.
- Confidence diagnosing and troubleshooting refrigeration systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Solid problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage service calls with minimal supervision.
- A professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
- Basic welding or fabrication experience is an asset.

Pay: $40.00-$76.52 per hour
