POSITION SUMMARY:

This position plans, implements and participates in the development of programs to enhance the children’s overall development in accordance with OCCC philosophies, legislative requirements and the Ontario Early Learning Framework. A protected and emotionally supportive environment is essential. Regular and ongoing communication and consultation with the Leadership Team, co-workers and families is required.

It is expected that all staff demonstrate CARE (Creative solutions, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence), and be pleasant, tactful, discreet and professional at all times.

You have

- Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators
- Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- Able to obtain a clean criminal reference check with vulnerable persons screening
- Experience with children from birth to 12 or are looking to start your career with a great agency
- Able to work all rotating shifts between 6:45am and 5:30pm
- Able to lift a minimum of 40lbs

In return, we offer our employees:
- A competitive hourly rate plus the Provincial Child Care Wage Enhancement & CWELCC Workforce Compensation Funding as applicable. That means $22.50 hourly rate + $2.00 WEG + $3 CWELCC = $27.50 per hour to start!
