ACME PHYSIO is an independent health and wellness clinic / gym studio that focuses on evidence based care and promoting a specialized culture of physical activity, fitness, health promotion and functional rehabilitation. We are here to make a positive impact in our community and offer high quality healthcare services and professionalism including Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Athletic Therapy, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Kinesiology and Personal Training.

ACME PHYSIO is looking for an outgoing and personable Registered Massage Therapist to join our growing team at our clinic and gym studio. We have multiple treatment rooms and space to welcome a recent Massage Therapist to our team as well as a gym studio for sports rehabilitation and training purposes. We are located near Downtown Markham and also steps away from Scarborough North and North York regions.

Responsibilities:

- Assessment, developing and implementing treatment plans within the clinical scope of practice, modifying plans as needed in order to provide best patient centered care.
- Maintain and update patient SOAP notes as regulated by the College




- Able to assist in company development as well as marketing strategies
- Practices within current evidence-based best practice

Requirements:

- Maintain an active status within the College: professional development, continuing education, liability insurance, compliance with regulations and Licensed to Practice within the Province of Ontario.
- Able to work as a part of a multidisciplinary team and inter-professional collaborative strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
- Functional rehabilitation and sports massage an asset
- Acupuncture certification to be favoured
- Availability on Weekdays and/or Weekends
