We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to the individual needs of clients, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their preferences and concerns prior to treatment.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress, including any relevant medical history or changes in condition.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards and maintaining equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort throughout the session, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred to enhance communication with clients regarding their health conditions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and provide personalized care.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to ensure transparent understanding between therapist and client.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in massage techniques and wellness practices is highly valued.
