Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to ensure personalized care
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client preferences
- Educate clients on post-massage care and recommend follow-up treatments if necessary
- Schedule appointments and manage client bookings efficiently
- Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and customer service at all times
Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for clients
- Strong communication skills for effective consultation and client education
- Ability to listen attentively and respond empathetically to client needs
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is required
- Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
