JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking an IT Project Manager to support a large-scale API Payments Modernization Program. This is a highly visible, complex initiative focused on managing downstream scope changes, development activities, testing coordination, issue triage, and governance across multiple workstreams. The successful candidate will join an established program team overseeing a multi-million-dollar transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery within the API Payments programme.

• Coordinate and oversee downstream scope changes resulting from programme enhancements and releases.

• Drive issue management, risk identification, escalation, and resolution throughout development and testing phases.

• Partner closely with the Lead Project Manager and cross-functional delivery teams.

• Track project milestones, dependencies, action items, and governance deliverables.

• Facilitate programme governance activities, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.

• Ensure adherence to project gating requirements, audit controls, and programme compliance standards.

• Support both development and testing workstreams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

• Coordinate across integration teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.





• Drive proactive problem-solving and identify potential delivery risks before they impact timelines.

We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5-7+ years of Project Management experience delivering technology projects.

• Experience managing software/application delivery projects within a banking environment.

• Robust understanding of SDLC methodologies, project governance, testing, and release management.

• Experience working with API-based platforms and integration projects.

• Proven ability to manage complex, high-priority initiatives with multiple stakeholder groups.

• Experience coordinating development and testing activities simultaneously.

• Strong risk, issue, dependency, and action item management skills.

• Ability to work independently, think critically, and proactively drive projects forward.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Exposure to Commercial Banking or Payments Initiatives.

• Knowledge of governance-heavy or audit-sensitive programmes.

• Understanding of payment systems, payment processing, or payments infrastructure.
