including preventive and general maintenanceAssist with identifying issues and opportunities allowing continuous improvementMay assist in contract specification reviews/mix design submissions to clientsOther ResponsibilitiesPlant/Field/Lab environmentTravel to plants and job sitesPhysical demandsPosition Requirements (Experience, Technical Expertise and Core Competencies):Safety oriented and sound knowledge of OH&S; policies, procedures and regulationsKnowledge of concrete and aggregates testingStrong analytical and decision-making skillsGood communication skills both written and oralProficient in MS OfficeExcellent problem solving abilities, organizational and time management skillsAbility to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, flexible and able to adjust to changing needs, priorities and work timesCapability to work in an outdoor environment, with frequent exposure to heat, cold, dust and noise is requiredCustomer-orientedMust have valid G driver's licenseEducational/Experience Criteria (preferred):Diploma or Degree in Civil or Construction Technology Program, orWorking towards The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering and Applied Science TechnologistsConcrete Testing Experience with a CCIL certified laboratoryThis job posting reflects an existing vacancy.
