Our core service offering is in-house project management, process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control engineering, project engineering, procurement, regulatory services, civil and structural engineering, and construction management.Responsibilities:As the Senior Project Engineer for the FEED of a large Greenfield full field development:Creating and maintaining project schedules, engineering man-hour estimates, and cost estimatesRequesting vendor information, compiling and distributing RFQs, evaluating quotes, and recommending purchase awardsAssisting with the preparation and review of scope documents, reports, DBMs, PEPs, project kickoff documentation, RFQs, etc.Assembling and/or directing the assembly of construction work packages with an awareness and attention to what should be contained in the binderUnderstanding regulatory codes and the implication on Acero’s design (e.G.



spacing)Understanding and working with piping and various equipment specificationsParticipate in HAZOPS, including dealing with preparation and close-outsUnderstanding and participating in squad checksCommunicating effectively with team members and stakeholders (including clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, etc.) – e.G. notifying the appropriate stakeholders of all changesPrioritizing workload and being able to juggle multiple tasks without falling short on quality or deadlinesOther tasks/responsibilities, as requiredPreferred Education, Experience and Skills:Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Project Engineer with strong technical capabilitiesStrong compression experience is a “must have”Must have 6+ years’ experience at an EPCM working on projects related to Oil and Gas FacilitiesMinimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with successful completion of ENCH 607 & 609 (or equivalent courses), and registered as a skilled engineer in the province of AlbertaUnderstanding and working effectively with MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio, Powerpoint, TeamsExcellent team collaboration and interpersonal skillsStrong written, verbal, analytical and critical thinking skillsProven ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines as occasionally demanded by our clients#J-18808-Ljbffr
