Major Drilling Group International Inc. is seeking Heavy Duty Mechanics for seasonal, full time positions supporting mining and geological exploration projects across multiple locations in Canada. These roles involve diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment in both surface and underground settings. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, adaptable to remote work environments, and eager to join a global leader in drilling services.

What You’ll Need

- Preferably a current registered driver’s license
- Physically fit with good dexterity
- Willingness to work outdoors and adapt to a nomadic lifestyle




- Ability to work long hours under varying climatic conditions
- Good communication and mathematical skills
- Mechanical background and aptitude preferred
- Must pass drug and alcohol tests (including random tests)
- Grade 12 education
- Valid First Aid level C
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with underground long hole and exploration drills and mining equipment (preferred)
- Able to work with limited supervision
- Willingness to travel, work long hours, and perform shift work for extended periods (camp setting)
