Legal Aid Ontario is seeking a Criminal Duty Counsel to provide client service in Kenora, with occasional travel to other district locations. The role involves intake, advising on procedures, drafting documents, and representing clients in court both virtually and in person.
The successful candidate will be a lawyer in positive standing with the Law Society of Ontario, able to perform bail hearings, guilty pleas, and remands, and to work with unrepresented clients while travelling between district
