Royal Cleaning Co. Ltd. is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, friendly and detail-oriented Residential Cleaner to join our team!

Position & Schedule

This is a part-time, Monday-to-Friday daytime position.

Typical working hours are approximately 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Our first residential cleaning appointments generally begin at 9:00 AM, with our team leaving the office at approximately 8:30 AM.

Most days are finished around 4:00 PM; however, our schedule varies depending on the number, location and size of the homes being cleaned that day. Applicants must have some flexibility for an occasional later day, up to approximately 5:00 PM, when required.

Daily and weekly hours may vary and are not guaranteed to be the same each week.

About the Position

Our Residential Cleaners work in clients’ homes throughout Chatham-Kent and surrounding areas.

Depending on the day’s schedule, you may work alongside other members of our team or independently.

Our clients trust us to enter and care for their homes, so professionalism, reliability and respect are extremely important to us.

Typical responsibilities include:

● Cleaning and sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms

● Dusting furniture, fixtures, baseboards and surfaces

● Vacuuming carpets, rugs, stairs and other areas

● Sweeping and washing hard-surface flooring

● Cleaning mirrors, glass and other designated surfaces

● Emptying garbage and replacing liners





● Completing detailed cleaning tasks according to individual client needs

● Following client-specific notes and Royal Cleaning Co. cleaning procedures

● Properly using and caring for company cleaning products, supplies and equipment

● Carrying cleaning equipment and supplies into and out of client homes

● Working efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality

● Respecting our clients’ homes, belongings and privacy

● Communicating professionally and pleasantly with clients and other team members

● Physically comfortable performing residential cleaning for several hours at a time

Previous professional cleaning experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

For us, reliability, attitude, attention to detail and pride in your work are just as important as previous cleaning experience.

Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants must:

● Have a valid driver’s licence





● Have their own reliable vehicle

● Be willing and able to drive between client locations throughout Chatham-Kent and surrounding areas during the workday

● Have a reliable smartphone with an active data plan

● Be comfortable using a mobile app, as work schedules, appointments, job information and clock-ins/clock-outs are managed through our scheduling app

● Be willing and able to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check

● Be physically capable of carrying and lifting cleaning supplies and equipment

● Be able to bend, reach, kneel, climb stairs, vacuum and remain active and on your feet for extended periods

● Have reliable Monday-to-Friday daytime availability

● Be dependable and able to arrive for scheduled shifts on time
