VENTA Home Comfort is a growing residential heating and cooling company serving homeowners across the Greater Toronto Area. We are focused on professional workmanship, honest recommendations, reliable service, and an excellent customer experience.

We are looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Service & Installation Technician to join our field team on a casual/on-call basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as our service volume grows.

This is an active vacancy and is ideal for an experienced technician looking for flexible/additional work and the opportunity to grow with a new HVAC company.

Compensation

$50–$60 per hour, depending on licences, certifications, experience, and capabilities.

This is initially a casual/on-call position. Hours are based on booked customer jobs and are not guaranteed each week.

As VENTA grows, our goal is to offer the right technician increasing hours and the opportunity to transition into a full-time and potentially Lead Technician position.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose residential heating and cooling problems
- Service and repair furnaces and air-conditioning systems
- Perform furnace and AC installations
- Service and install heat pumps when qualified
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls
- Clearly explain findings and available options to homeowners
- Complete job documentation accurately
- Maintain clean and qualified work areas
- Follow applicable safety, code, and manufacturer requirements
- Represent VENTA professionally in customers’ homes

Qualifications
- Valid G2 Gas Technician licence or higher




- Appropriate Ontario trade credentials for the work being performed
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Strong residential HVAC service and diagnostic experience
- Residential installation experience
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented

Strong assets include:
- 313A or 313D certification
- G1 Gas Technician licence
- ODP certification
- Heat-pump experience
- Tankless water-heater experience
- Boiler experience

Applicable licences and certifications will be verified before regulated work is assigned.
