Residential Interior PainterJob Overview

We are seeking an experienced, reliable Residential Interior Painter to join our team. This role focuses on delivering skilled-quality painting in occupied and unoccupied homes while providing an excellent customer experience.

The ideal candidate takes pride in preparation, cleanliness, attention to detail, and producing a consistent, high-quality finish. You will work as part of a team on residential projects throughout the Lower Mainland and will be expected to represent the company professionally while working in customers’ homes.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare interior surfaces through patching, filling, sanding, caulking, cleaning, masking, and priming.
- Protect floors, furniture, cabinetry, fixtures, and other surfaces before beginning work.
- Apply coatings to walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and other interior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment where appropriate.
- Follow project specifications, product requirements, and established application procedures.
- Produce clean lines, consistent coverage, proper sheen, and a professional finished appearance.
- Identify surface or coating issues and communicate them before proceeding with work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite throughout the project—not just at completion.
- Work efficiently to meet established project schedules and production expectations.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners, project managers, and other team members.




- Complete daily cleanup and leave customers’ homes clean, organized, and usable.
- Properly care for company tools, equipment, and materials.

Experience & Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional residential painting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of interior surface preparation and paint application.
- Comfortable working with brushes, rollers, sanding equipment, ladders, and standard painting tools.
- Spraying experience is an asset.
- Ability to perform minor drywall and surface repairs associated with painting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Able to work independently while also functioning well as part of a crew.
- Professional appearance, communication, and conduct when working in customers’ homes.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently meet project schedules.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
