WE’RE HIRING: RESTORATION & RENOVATION TECHNICIAN

$20–$30/hour | Full-Time | Restoration Renovation Construction

Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in quality workmanship? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and have strong general construction skills?

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Restoration Technician to join our team.

You will work on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, restoring properties affected by water, fire, mould, and other damage to safe and functional condition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Water damage mitigation, structural drying, and moisture control

● Fire and smoke damage restoration, including cleaning and deodorizing

● Mould remediation and environmental cleaning

● Demolition and removal of damaged building materials

● Cleaning, sanitizing, and contents restoration

● Operation of restoration equipment, hand tools, and power tools

● Documentation of job progress and daily work records

● Collaboration with project managers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors

● Compliance with all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and industry standards

REQUIREMENTS

● Experience in restoration, construction, renovation, demolition,



or related skilled trades

● Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment

● Robust work ethic and pride in workmanship

● Ability to work independently and within a team

● Strong communication and problem-solving skills

● Physically capable of lifting, climbing, bending, and working in demanding environments

● Commitment to safety, professionalism, and attention to detail

● Valid driver’s licence (asset)

CERTIFICATIONS (ASSETS)

IICRC | IHSA | WHMIS | Working at Heights | First Aid/CPR | Asbestos | Mould Remediation

Experience, reliability, and a willingness to learn are highly valued even if not all certifications are held.

COMPENSATION

$20–$30/hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
