Retail Showroom Assistant

Fixed-Term Position | September 2026 – January 2027

Coco Armadio is looking for a reliable, hands-on Retail Showroom Assistant to help keep our showroom organized, welcoming and running smoothly during our busy fall and holiday season.

This is a five-month fixed-term employment position, beginning in September 2026 and ending on a predetermined date in January 2027.

The position is being created specifically to provide additional showroom coverage during this period and is not a permanent position. Employment will automatically conclude at the end of the agreed fixed term.

The successful candidate will be welcome to apply for any available Coco Armadio positions for 2027, but continued employment beyond the fixed term is not guaranteed.

The Role

This is a practical, hands-on retail position. You’ll help cover scheduled showroom hours while assisting with the everyday tasks that keep the space organized and ready for customers.

Responsibilities may include

- Providing scheduled showroom coverage
- Welcoming and assisting customers
- Sorting incoming merchandise
- Unpacking and organizing inventory
- Hanging and preparing clothing for the sales floor
- Steaming garments
- Packing customer purchases and orders
- Maintaining organized racks, displays and merchandise areas
- Sweeping and general showroom cleaning
- Keeping fitting and customer areas tidy
- Restocking and reorganizing merchandise
- Assisting with other reasonable day-to-day showroom and retail tasks as required

Schedule This is a part-time, fixed-term position with scheduled showroom shifts between September 2026 and January 2027.





Specific weekly hours and availability requirements will be discussed before hiring.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour, paid through payroll in accordance with Ontario employment standards.

- Organized and detail-oriented
- Willing to jump between different tasks as needed
- Comfortable handling, hanging, steaming and organizing clothing
- Able to maintain a clean and welcoming retail environment
- Respectful of merchandise, customers and the showroom space

Previous retail experience is helpful but isn’t necessarily required. Reliability, attitude and willingness to work are more important.

Term of Employment

This position is being offered as a fixed-term employment agreement for approximately five months.

The successful candidate will receive a written employment agreement specifying the exact start and end dates, compensation, expected duties, scheduling arrangements and other terms of employment.

The position does not automatically renew or convert into permanent employment at the end of the term.

Employees completing the contract may apply for future Coco Armadio opportunities for 2027 should positions become available.
