Revenue Accountant – 2 month Contract

$37–$45/hour

North York, ON (Fully Onsite)

Our client, a well-established commercial real estate company, is seeking an experienced Revenue Accountant to join their team on a 2–3 month contract . This role will focus heavily on accounts receivable cleanup, tenant account reconciliations, and resolving outstanding billing discrepancies across a commercial real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate has previous experience within commercial property management, robust reconciliation skills, and the ability to investigate and resolve account discrepancies independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform accounts receivable cleanup and investigate outstanding balances across tenant accounts.
- Reconcile tenant ledgers and resolve discrepancies related to rent, recoveries, and additional charges.
- Review aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts and unapplied cash.
- Work closely with Property Accountants and Property Administrators to ensure tenant billings and account balances are accurate.
- Assist with rent roll reviews, billing adjustments, and revenue-related reconciliations.




- Support month-end AR reconciliations and ensure balances tie to the General Ledger.
- Research and resolve historical account issues, payment discrepancies, and collection matters.
- Maintain accurate tenant records and supporting documentation.
- Provide reporting and analysis related to receivables and revenue activity.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of Accounts Receivable or Revenue Accounting experience within commercial property management.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Experience reconciling tenant accounts and managing collection processes.
- Yardi experience is highly preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
