We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full time RN Baby Nurse to provide exceptional care for newborns and their families in. This vital role involves delivering personalized, expert nursing support to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of infants during their early stages of life. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, excellent clinical skills, and a nurturing demeanor to foster a positive environment for both babies and parents.

Duties

- Provide comprehensive newborn care, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and monitoring vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers with precision and attention to detail
- Educate parents on infant care practices, safety protocols, and developmental milestones
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of medical services and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions, treatments, and progress in electronic health records systems such as Epic or Cerner
- Conduct assessments to identify any health concerns or complications early on and escalate appropriately
- Assist with laboratory procedures such as phlebotomy when necessary, ensuring proper sample collection and handling
- Manage pain relief strategies for infants when required,



utilizing best practices in pediatric pain management
- Support families with discharge planning, home care instructions, and ongoing health monitoring
- Uphold strict adherence to medical terminology standards and infection control protocols throughout all duties

Skills

- Proven experience working with infants, children, or in pediatric nursing settings
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and acute care procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation purposes
- Experience in hospital environments with pediatrics or neonatal intensive care units (NICU) preferred
- Skilled in case management, patient care coordination, and home health services
- Competence in laboratory procedures including phlebotomy and specimen handling
- Excellent communication skills to educate families effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage complex cases involving dementia or senior care is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of assisted living environments or nursing home operations beneficial for comprehensive understanding of patient needs
