Prairie North Construction is recruiting Rock Truck Operators, for a Civil Construction Project near Leduc, AB

Details:

This is a project-based position, with a 6 Day on - 1 day off rotation schedule, 12 Hour Shifts.

Duties:

This position will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:

- Operate 30/40/60t Articulating Truck and support in civil construction activities such as: backfilling, road surfacing, waste hauling.
- Follow directions from Foreman/Supervisor
- Operate and maintain equipment in a protected and efficient manner.
- Carry out minor maintenance and inspection for equipment and reporting any deficiencies.
- Ability to work as a team and take direction.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Possess 1+ experience.
- Must pass a competency test on specified equipment.




- Experience operating different heavy equipment is considered an asset.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Knowledge of earthworks, road building, road construction
- Dress appropriately for all weather conditions.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Capable of physical Labour.
- Must provide CSA approved steeled toed safety boots above ankle height.
