Supply Ontario is seeking a Senior Data Science Developer to provide technical analytics support for the Agency’s Mental Health &
- Addiction (MHA) program, with a primary focus on the Provincial Data Set (PDS) 2.0 and other clinical analytics priorities.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain data pipelines, analytics products, cloud-based data models, dashboards, and reports supporting critical health data and ministry-related commitments.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Azure, and Power BI, along with experience working with large-scale health system and administrative databases, data linkage, analytic cohort development, and health-sector analytics.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a Senior Data Science Developer / Data Analytics Specialist with solid experience in health data, public-sector environments, SQL, Python, Azure, and Power BI. Candidates should have hands-on experience working with large health system and administrative databases, including dataset linkage, analytical cohort development, cloud-based data models, data pipelines, and clinical reporting.
Experience with Mental Health &
- Addiction data, PHIPA, health data governance, and product-based delivery environments will be highly valuable.
Engagement &
- Work Arrangement
- The initial engagement is for 166 business days, with an option to extend for up to 253 additional business days at the Agency’s discretion.
- The resource must comply with all Agency policies and procedures.
- An Agency laptop will be provided.
- The resource must provide at least one additional monitor, external keyboard, and mouse at their own expense.
- For remote work, the resource must have a private office space and cannot work from an open communal area.
- A hard-wired internet connection with suitable bandwidth is required.
- If the required home-office conditions cannot be met, the resource may be required to work full-time onsite.
- Agency systems cannot be accessed from outside Ontario without prior written approval.
- Agency laptops and related equipment cannot be removed from Ontario without prior written approval.
