Role Overview The Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement is seeking a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist with extensive experience in enterprise-level software testing and large-scale IT environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and managing comprehensive functional and non-functional testing, including manual and automated testing, integration, regression, performance, API, accessibility, security, and user acceptance testing.

The role requires strong expertise with test automation, AODA compliance, defect management, CI/CD environments, cloud technologies, databases, and performance testing, along with the ability to work effectively with technical and business teams in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall environments.

Mandatory Requirements

- 10+ years of software testing experience in enterprise-level IT environments and large-scale systems
- Extensive hands-on experience with manual and automated testing
- Strong experience with AODA testing and compliance
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, UFT, TestComplete, or similar
- Experience with API testing
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, Bugzilla, or similar
- Knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure and AWS
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and GitLab
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall testing methodologies
- Strong SQL/database testing capabilities
- Proven experience testing complex systems across functional and non-functional requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on testing strategies, test plans, testing tools, resources, and overall QA approaches
- Plan and organize testing activities for large-scale GUI and non-GUI systems
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scripts, test cases, and test data
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, acceptance, stress, load, and performance testing
- Conduct system integration testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Validate system behavior under various conditions and business scenarios
- Identify, document, manage, and track software defects through resolution
- Work closely with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve defects
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, UFT, TestComplete, Micro Focus/OpenText tools, or Postman
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct API testing and validate backend services
- Perform performance, stress, and load testing and analyze bottlenecks and scalability
- Validate data integrity, consistency,



and accuracy across systems and databases
- Perform backend, data migration, and data transformation testing where required
- Develop and manage effective test data strategies while considering privacy and test environment requirements
- Conduct accessibility testing and ensure compliance with AODA and related standards
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, testing leads, and IT leads
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results, test coverage, quality metrics, and test evidence
- Provide input into user manuals, release notes, and implementation documentation
- Ensure testing activities comply with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and QA practices
- Participate in basic security testing and collaborate with security specialists for advanced security assessments

- Knowledge of structured application development, testing, and maintenance methodologies
- Experience with CASE tools and data query tools for test development and validation
- Experience with automated testing tools and version control systems
- Experience executing functional, non-functional, system-level integration, regression, and acceptance testing
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, practices, tools, and methodologies
- Experience creating test strategies, test plans, test cases, test data, and test reports
- Knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to develop clear and comprehensive test cases and execute them effectively
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or similar automation/API testing tools
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, Bugzilla, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools
- Scripting experience with languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash
- Strong SQL/query-writing skills for data validation and backend testing
- Experience developing robust test data strategies
- Experience testing data migration and transformation processes
- Experience developing performance test scripts and analyzing system performance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in large, cross-functional teams and meet aggressive deadlines

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a Senior QA/Test Specialist with 10+ years of enterprise testing experience, strong manual and automation capabilities, and proven expertise in AODA, API, performance, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing. Candidates should be comfortable working with Selenium/Postman, JIRA/Azure DevOps, JMeter/LoadRunner, SQL/Oracle, Azure/AWS, Jenkins/Git/GitLab, and should have strong experience working within Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery environments.
