We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform all types of manual welding in multiple positions on company products while meeting stringent quality standards. The successful candidate will also perform fitting operations and contribute to a safe, productive, and quality-focused work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret route sheets, engineering drawings, Shop Instruction Sheets (SIS), Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS), weld cards, and rod cards.
- Plan, organize, and execute RT/UT welding processes.
- Identify and verify workpiece materials before welding.
- Perform manual welding and repairs to RT/UT quality standards using multiple welding processes.
- Complete basic fitting operations according to pre-established layouts.
- Communicate effectively with team members and shop foremen to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and secure work practices.
- Produce quality work that meets customer specifications and company standards.
- Work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various welding positions as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Successful completion of an advanced welding program.
- Minimum 5 years of manual welding experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to perform manual welding and repairs to RT/UT quality standards.
- Experience working with multiple welding processes.
- Intermediate-level blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Strong understanding of welding procedures, quality requirements, and productivity expectations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in awkward positions.
