Role Description The Sales Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in New Westminster, BC. This role is responsible for welcoming customers, offering personalized product recommendations, and providing exceptional in-store service that reflects Aromatica’s brand values. Day-to-day tasks include engaging guests in scent discovery, explaining fragrance notes and collections, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean, visually appealing retail workplace.

The Sales

Assistant will also restock shelves, organize displays, support inventory counts, and assist with in-store events or promotions.



Collaboration with the retail team to meet sales targets and contribute to a warm, inclusive customer experience is essential.

- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build rapport, understand needs, and create welcoming, inclusive experiences.
- Clear and professional communication skills, including active listening and the ability to explain product features and fragrance stories.
- Sales skills and a results-focused mindset, with the ability to recommend products, handle objections, and support achievement of store targets.
- Organization skills to manage stock, maintain displays, and handle multiple customer interactions efficiently.
- Interest in fragrance, fashion, or beauty retail and willingness to learn about Aromatica’s collections and brand story.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform basic physical tasks associated with retail work.
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is an asset.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
