We are seeking a energetic and organized Salon Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and staff, ensuring smooth daily operations within the salon. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A background in retail sales or customer service is preferred.

The Salon

Coordinator will play a key role in enhancing client experience, managing appointments, and supporting salon staff to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional customer service through phone and in-person interactions
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using salon management software
- Handle cashiering duties including POS transactions and billing
- Assist with product merchandising, inventory management, and product demos to promote salon services and retail items
- Upsell salon services and retail products to maximize revenue opportunities
- Maintain organized records of client information, sales transactions, and appointment schedules
- Support staff with daily operational tasks such as phone etiquette, time management,



and organizational duties
- Ensure the salon environment is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained at all times
- Conduct basic product demonstrations
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall customer experience and operational efficiency

Experience

- Prior experience in front desk, receptionist, retail sales and customer service is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with merchandising, product demos, or upselling techniques is preferred
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and time management skills are essential for success in this role
