Turf Systems Inc. is looking for reliable, safety-minded Salt Operators to join our team for the upcoming winter season.

For 35 years, Turf Systems has built a reputation for professional lawn care, irrigation, and commercial snow removal. Our snow team is supported by experienced management, clear operating procedures, training, and well-maintained equipment.

What You'll Do

As a Salt Operator, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently applying salt and ice-melt treatments to commercial properties using an F-650 equivalent or larger vehicle.

Your responsibilities will include

- Operating an F-650 equivalent or larger vehicle to remove snow and apply salt/ice treatment on commercial properties
- Following assigned routes, site maps, and salting standards
- Completing properties thoroughly and paying close attention to high-priority areas
- Performing equipment and vehicle checks before and during snow events
- Communicating with dispatch and snow operations management throughout events
- Following Turf Systems' safety policies and operating procedures
- Responding reliably when called in for snow and ice events

Snow Doesn't Follow a 9-to-5 Schedule This is an on-call winter position. Snow events can happen during the day, overnight, on weekends, and on holidays.

When winter weather hits, our clients depend on us—and our snow team depends on each other. Successful operators must be able to respond reliably and work the hours required to complete an event.

Top-up pay is provided to support your on-call availability throughout the winter season.

What We're Looking For

You don't need to know everything on day one, but salt operation experience is required. We're looking for people who are dependable, attentive,



and take pride in doing the job properly.

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario G driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Current driver's abstract required upon hire
- Previous salt operation experience required
- Previous large vehicle operation experience recommended
- Reliable and available during snow events
- Alert, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Able to follow instructions, site plans, and operating procedures
- Comfortable working outdoors in winter conditions and during overnight hours when required
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
