Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our Salon/Spa. This role involves providing exceptional guest services, managing front desk operations, and supporting various administrative and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a welcoming attitude, and experience in customer service or hospitality environments.

Duties

- Greet guests and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage front desk operations including answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking in clients, ringing invoices through, selling products and tend to the tanning clients.
- Upselling services or retail products to clients
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the reception area and tanning rooms to ensure a professional environment
- Support guest services by providing information about services such as body waxing, hair styling, nail care, facials, tanning ect.
- Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth daily operations and timely service delivery
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, appointment scheduling,



managing client records and posting to social media
- Promote additional services through effective communication and product recommendations

Experience

- Prior experience in customer service, retail sales, or hospitality is preferred
- Knowledge of front desk procedures and guest service best practices is advantageous
- Experience with beauty or wellness services such as body waxing, hair styling, tanning, or nail care is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with clients and team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and maintaining a clean work area is desirable
