In this Grower 1 position, you will assist with the operational aspects of nursery work, focusing on producing quality forest seedlings. The role involves applying effective nursery practices, coordinating activities, and training other workers. As you engage in this physically demanding position, you will contribute significantly to environmental sustainability and forestry initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement water and fertilization programs as per Crop Prescriptions
• Operate Argus Environmental Control System for irrigation
• Monitor seedling growth and perform nutrient analyses




• Conduct inspections for pests and diseases
• Maintain accurate records via computerized systems
Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transport
• Knowledge of greenhouse equipment and climate controls
• Robust communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience in horticulture or nursery practices preferred
