Reporting directly toPlanning & Scheduling Lead,thePlannerScheduleris responsible fordeveloping, critically evaluating, andmaintainingdetailed Level 4 and Level 5 schedules that feed into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project. As the project advances through construction, commissioning, and into operations, the role will transition to supporting sustaining capital projectsfollowingmill startup.
Schedule
Planning, Development & Analysis Perform "what-if" scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of proposed changes on the overall project schedule and critical path. Monitor progress against the baseline schedule, proactivelyidentifypotential delays, and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project team. Review project drawings, execution plans, environmental plans, procurement timelines, and contracts tomaintaina thorough understanding of project scope and interfaces.
Stakeholder
Coordination & Project Integration Collaborate closely with Construction, Mining and Mill Operations, Engineering, and Project Controls teams to incorporate progress updates, forecasts, and change impacts into the IMS. Coordinate with third-party stakeholders, including suppliers, engineers, and contractors, to integrate their scopes into the IMS and support adherence to committed timelines. Work with project managers to support effective allocation oflabour, materials, and equipment.
Prepare clear, actionable weekly and monthly schedule reports highlighting changes, float variances, risk areas, opportunities, and items requiring management attention. Present schedule status, critical path updates, and key changes to project leadership and stakeholders in a transparent and concise manner. Track critical activities and keep management informed of emerging issues that could affect project delivery.
A diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is desirable Mustpossessa valid Class 5 Driver’sLicense Minimum 5years experiencein a Planner Scheduler role in mining, oil andgasor heavy civil environments.
Experience developing andmaintainingLevel 4/5 schedules on large-scale mining, heavy industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Solid understanding of project controls, including Earned Value Management, resource loading, and critical path analysis. Ability to communicate complex schedule information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborative mindset with experience working across Construction, Engineering, Operations, and external contractors. This is a site-based camp job at Eskay Creek Mine site. This position involves working at a remote mine site ona15dayson/13 daysoff rotation.
The Eskay Creek Revitalization
Project islocatedwithin the Coast Mountains of Northwestern British Columbia and Tahltan Territory. Ground transportation will be provided from local communities to the Eskay Creek Site facilities. For those applicantslocatedelsewhere in western Canada, flight transportation from major urban centers will be provided to the Terrace or Smithers airports, from which shuttles will provide transportation to the Eskay Creek Camp facilities.
Travel time and expenses are subject to Skeena’s Travel Policy. There will be exposure to extreme temperatures in all seasons including working outdoors in snow, mud, ice, and water conditions, walking to and fromdifferent locationson uneven ground, prolonged periods of standing and physically handling/lifting/moving heavy objects.
