We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to oversee and optimize the production schedule for our kitchen cabinet door manufacturing shop.

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that orders move efficiently through each stage of production and are completed accurately and on time. The Scheduling Coordinator will work closely with sales, production, finishing, assembly, and delivery teams to establish realistic timelines, monitor progress, identify potential delays, and adjust schedules as needed.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver who can manage multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously, communicate effectively with the production team, and continuously look for ways to improve workflow and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Schedule customer orders according to promised delivery dates, production capacity, materials, and workflow requirements.
- Coordinate the movement of orders through each stage of production, including cutting, machining, assembly, sanding, finishing,



inspection, and delivery.
- Prioritize production based on customer deadlines, order requirements, material availability, and shop capacity.
- Monitor the status of every active order and identify potential delays before they affect delivery commitments.
- Communicate schedule changes and priorities clearly to production staff and management.
- Coordinate with purchasing and inventory personnel to ensure required materials are available when needed.
- Track lead times and production performance to help ensure customer orders are completed on schedule.
- Identify bottlenecks and scheduling conflicts and develop practical solutions.
- Reorganize production schedules when unexpected issues arise, such as equipment downtime, material shortages, rework, or staffing changes.
