Empower children's potential as a School Age Educator with Vancouver Society of Children's Centres. Engage with students aged 5-12 in enriching after-school programs at local schools. In this part time role, you will report to the Program Supervisor and be responsible for crafting and executing educational activities that boost children’s self-esteem and curiosity.

You will maintain a healthy and safe learning environment while providing guidance. Strong collaboration with parents and teachers will be crucial to fostering positive relationships. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and assess activities for children's engagement
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for learners
- Guide children in various educational and recreational activities




- Maintain open communication with parents and staff members
- Adapt programs to accommodate diverse needs Requirements:
- Grade 12 completion and at least 19 years of age
- Training hours in child development or related fields
- Six months of relevant experience in childcare settings
- Certifications in First Aid and Food Safe
