Position Overview:

Golden Arrow School Buses Ltd. is looking to hire a full time, permanent school bus dispatchers to join our dynamic team. This roles involve coordinating school bus transportation schedules, communicating with drivers, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities:

- Schedule available drivers to cover scheduled routes and charters.
- Monitor and communicate with Bus Drivers and others concerning such ‘environmental’ information as weather, road hazards, road closings, traffic delays, etc.
- Track buses using geographic positioning system (GPS) equipment.
- Assign and coordinate school bus schedules for drivers.
- Communicate route updates, changes, or issues promptly to drivers.
- Monitor bus schedules to ensure timely departures and arrivals.




- Handle scheduling disruptions and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and communications.
- Act as the main point of contact for drivers, schools, and parents during shifts.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in school bus or transportation dispatching is an asset.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Intermediate computer skills (email, scheduling systems, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
