Become a School Psychologist at Central Okanagan Public Schools, committed to student-centered education. This role emphasizes school psychology and collaboration with diverse educational stakeholders. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a Master's Degree in school psychology or a related field.
The successful candidate will have expertise in educational testing, psychometric principles, and be well-versed in Ministry policies. Solid communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as experience in collaborating with teachers, parents, and community agencies to enhance student learning. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret educational psychological assessments
- Collaborate with school and district personnel on strategies
- Assist in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide in-service on assessment and special education
- Liaise with external agencies for student support Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in school psychology or related field
- Experience with Level C tests and special education policies
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proven skills in consultation and collaboration
