The City of Penticton seeks a permanent full-time Community Policing - Crime Stoppers Coordinator to elevate public safety. Reporting to the Community Policing/Victim Services Supervisor, you will educate the community on crime prevention and supervise volunteers. Your contributions will build trust and collaboration with local Crime Stoppers to promote effective crime initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and deliver crime tips to police
• Educate the community on crime prevention activities




• Monitor crime trends and implement targeted initiatives
• Collaborate with the local Crime Stoppers Board
• Recruit and train community policing volunteers
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years' related experience
• Secondary education completion
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• Knowledge of Crime Stoppers Program
• Ability to obtain enhanced security clearance
