Overview

We are seeking a dedicated construction labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have existing experience working around underground construction, be responsible for assisting with various tasks on job sites and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. We are searching for a punctual individual for the remainder of the construction season. Communication skills and a team first mentality will be important. A valid class 5 license would be an asset.

Responsibilities

- Perform physical labour on construction sites or other projects as needed
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Assist with underground construction tasks, learning site specific tools, materials and fittings and listening to lead hands/foreman.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision




- Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris and hazards
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks
- Follow site safety policies and procedures.

Skills

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus
- Robust work ethic and willingness to learn on the job

Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
