Full-Time Condominium Security Guard

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Security Guard to work full-time at a condominium building.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Midnight to 8 AM

This role involves a combination of security duties, customer service, rule enforcement, and light administrative responsibilities. The successful candidate will interact regularly with residents, visitors, contractors, and building management while ensuring the safety and security of the property.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and secure the condominium premises.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and contractors.
- Respond to resident inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner.
- Assist residents with amenity reservations and provide information regarding building policies and procedures.
- Conduct pre- and post-inspections of party room and other amenity bookings.
- Ensure booking forms and required payments are received before residents are permitted to use amenity spaces.
- Enforce building rules and regulations by politely but firmly addressing violations and educating residents on management policies.




- Monitor for unauthorized individuals and trespassers and take appropriate action in accordance with established procedures.
- Contact emergency services (911) and respond appropriately to suspicious activities or emergency situations.
- Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records.
- Perform light administrative duties, including organizing booking documentation and distributing after-hours emergency notices and announcements.

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Minimum 1 year of condominium security experience is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong report-writing and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of condominium operations and residential security procedures is considered an asset.
