Security Guard Position - Forefront Security

We need security guards at our Cranbrook, Fernie, Duncan, Victoria and Maple Ridge locations, who will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of client's and their assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- High-visibility patrol of assigned areas, on foot and in company vehicles
- Ensure the security of all personnel, visitors, and the general public
- Respond against theft, trespassing, vandalism and fire
- Monitor property access control
- Investigate and report suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches
- Enforce client informed policies
- Communicate with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments
- Respond to and investigate alarms, ensuring properties are secure and in order before departing

Qualifications:

- Valid Security Guard License.
- Additional certifications are an asset: Occupational First Aid Level 1, 2, 3, AST, Etc.
- Previous security experience.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge Construction Site Safety
- Relevant experience in the security or customer service industry
- High standard for safety & a passion for security

Schedule:

- Shift Times 0700-1500, 1500-2000
- Monday to Saturday
- Must be flexible to work either shift
