Job Summary In this role, you will work closely with partners and senior staff to prepare tax returns, compile financial statements, and maintain accurate client records. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns
- Assist with year-end tax planning
- Prepare compilation-level financial statements, including supporting schedules and working papers
- Communicate with clients to gather documentation, clarify information, and ensure timely completion of engagements
- Research tax issues and apply relevant regulations
- Assist in maintaining organized and secure client files
- Support partners and managers with ad hoc accounting and tax assignments

Qualifications

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of accounting or tax experience (public accounting preferred, but strong candidates with relevant experience will be considered)
- Experience with accounting and tax software (e.g.,



CaseWare, TaxPrep, QuickBooks Online, Sage)
- Familiarity with compilation engagements and workpaper preparation
- Strong Excel skills and general computer proficiency
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines—especially during tax season
- Strong communication and client-service skills

Preferred:

- CPA designation or demonstrated progress toward obtaining a CPA designation is considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
