What you will be doing!

- Managing office activities and providing administrative support to departmental leadership.
- Acting as a front-line contact for internal and external inquiries while screening, prioritizing, and tracking correspondence.
- Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, recording meeting minutes, and arranging meeting logistics.
- Preparing, editing, formatting, and assembling presentations, reports, records, and confidential documentation.
- Compiling, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on project, schedule, budget, and operational data.
- Coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements, conference registrations, itineraries, and expense claims.
- Supporting hiring, performance management, succession planning, and other human resources activities.
- Maintaining SharePoint sites, electronic filing systems, shared folders, tracking spreadsheets, and departmental records.
- Assisting staff with preparing and issuing correspondence, reports, and other business documents.
- Monitoring action items and tracking deliverables to ensure commitments are completed on schedule.
- Preparing procurement documentation, purchase requests, and office supply orders.
- Participating in process improvement initiatives, audits, and administrative support activities across the department.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.

What We Are Looking For

- Education
- Successful completion of secondary school (Grade 12) with related experience, or a college diploma in a related discipline such as Office Administration.

- Experience

- A minimum of five years of experience in an administrative assistant role or equivalent experience.




- Experience providing administrative support to managers and senior leaders.

- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Robust interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities.

- Security Clearance Eligibility Required

- Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”

Working Conditions

- Working schedule: Five (5) days per week, seven and a half (7.5) hours per day for a thirty-seven and a half (37.5) hour work week.
