This role is newly created getting to have a direct impact in the forward looking strategy of the organization in FP&A.; Reporting to a Director of FP&A; with impressive longevity and experience supporting the company for 14 years in FP&A; and strategy; this role will have a lot of visibility in collaborating with various departments, supporting the 3, 5, 10 year plan as well as hands on in reporting and analytics.
This company is undergoing many exciting projects in transformation, FP&A;, and improving upon tools for better data support in BI.

This opportunity:
The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) will be part of the Corporate Accounting department in Vancouver, BC and report to the Director, FP&A.; This position will be involved in budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling,
and the delivery of portfolio performance reporting, analytics, and financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. This role will be varied in supporting transformational projects as well as collaborating with various departments to support decision making and data gathering across the organization.
Qualifications- Required skills-
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, accounting, real estate, economics, or finance
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A;, corporate finance, accounting, investment analysis, portfolio management, or a related analytical role
- We are open to profiles straight from public practice and advisory or in corporate FP&A;
- Demonstrated understanding of budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, financial statements, and business performance measurement along with advanced analytical and financial modeling skills
- Solid attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with accuracy
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- The following is considered an asset, but is not required:
- Real estate experience (income producing properties and/or development)
- CPA, CFA, or other relevant designation
- Understanding real estate valuation, including discounted cash flow models
- Experience with Yardi, Argus, and/or business intelligence tools
Where: Vancouver- hybrid in office 3 days a week. Possibly 4 days during initial training.
How Much:
Competitive base salary in the range of $80-100,000 plus bonus and benefits.
