Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to join a leading Wealth Management Technology team supporting a portfolio of business-critical applications. This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring applications remain stable and performant for end users.

What You'll Do

- Provide day-to-day support for critical business applications.
- Investigate and resolve application incidents, service requests, and production issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive issues through to resolution.
- Use SQL to support issue investigation, reporting, and troubleshooting activities.
- Partner with business users, developers, and infrastructure teams to enhance application performance and stability.
- Monitor application health and proactively identify potential issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in an on-call support rotation.

Must-Have Qualifications ✅ 5+ years of Application Support, Production Support, or similar experience





✅ Experience supporting business-critical applications in an enterprise workplace

✅ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

✅ SQL experience for querying and issue investigation

✅ Experience working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams

✅ Experience in Agile environments

✅ Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring tools

✅ Strong communication skills and accountability

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

⭐ Wealth Management, Banking, or Financial Services experience

⭐ Exposure to Windows and Linux environments

⭐ Dynatrace, ELK, PagerDuty, or similar monitoring tools

⭐ Sybase, DB2, or SQL Server experience
