As a Janitor, you’re responsible for the cleanliness of buildings and surroundings. Your tasks include cleaning floors, shampooing carpets, and washing various surfaces to uphold infection control measures. You will also take the initiative in identifying areas needing attention, playing a key role in facility hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and properly dispose of waste materials
• Perform dusting and damp mopping of floors
• Rearrange furniture for thorough cleaning
• Properly sanitize and clean assigned surfaces
• Wash walls, windows, and other vital areas
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a custodian or similar role
• WHMIS and BSW Certifications beneficial
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Physical fitness to perform required tasks
