TekRek is partnered with a Series C fintech company building fraud prevention, AML, and risk infrastructure for banks, fintechs, and enterprise merchants. The business operates globally and has raised significant institutional funding.
The Role
This is a backend-focused contract role supporting the buildout of systems for a large enterprise banking client. You’ll work heavily in Golang and data infrastructure, taking ownership of a defined workstream rather than operating as a ticket-driven contributor.
What You Will Do
- Build and extend backend services in Golang for enterprise banking use cases
- Develop backend functionality that supports the needs of a large, regulated client
- Work with data pipelines and streaming infrastructure, including Flink where applicable
- Build against analytics and data infrastructure such as CDC and Redshift
- Own your workstream end to end,
becoming the primary engineering point person for that area
What You Bring
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience with robust systems development skills
- Strong hands-on Golang experience
- Experience building or working with data pipelines, ideally using Flink
- Exposure to CDC, Redshift, or comparable analytics and data infrastructure
- Comfort working with large, regulated banking clients; fraud, AML, or core banking integration experience is an asset
