GemTek Recruiting is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a long term contract supporting a large Canadian organization. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, financial systems, insurance reporting, and corporate accounting. The successful consultant will work closely with Product Owners, developers, testers, business stakeholders, architects, and vendors to translate complex business needs into effective technology solutions.

? MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Please review these requirements carefully before applying. Candidates MUST meet ALL FOUR mandatory requirements to be considered.

1. Financial Systems, Insurance Reporting & Corporate Accounting

You must have demonstrated experience working with:

- Financial systems
- Insurance reporting
- Corporate accounting

Experience across all three areas is mandatory.

1. Azure DevOps User Stories

- You must have strong experience writing high quality user stories in Azure DevOps.
- Strong experience means a minimum of 5 years of experience crafting detailed, actionable user stories.

3. Agile Methodologies You must have a minimum o f 5 years of experience applying Agile methodologies and collaborating with cross functional teams to support successful solution delivery.

4. UAT & Functional Troubleshooting

You must have demonstrated experience supporting business users with:

- User Acceptance Testing
- Functional troubleshooting

Candidates will be evaluated more strongly based on the depth of their experience in the following areas:

1. Provide details on the resources experience with financial systems, loan management and underwriting applications.
2. Describe the resources’ approach to working with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, testers, and business stakeholders, and how they manage to deliver solutions.
3. Provide the resources’ background on working with Agile methodologies, and how the resource approaches writing high-quality stories.

Candidates who do not currently hold Reliability Status may still be considered provided they are eligible to obtain the clearance and it is successfully in place before the contract start date. Interested?
