LeverageTek is actively seeking a Change Management Consultant for a 7-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.
Work Location
The successful candidate will be required to work in a hybrid environment, 1-2 days on-site per week, with the majority of training, coaching, and user support delivered virtually.
Key Tasks
- Co-develop and execute the change management approach alongside the internal PMO team
- Deliver organization-wide and team-specific training sessions tailored to audience needs
- Support users in adapting existing workflows to BirdView
- Facilitate process mapping and documentation for teams adopting BirdView for the first time
- Provide hands-on coaching and ongoing user support throughout the adoption lifecycle
- Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications
- Assess change impact, conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
- Create actionable deliverables for core change management plans: Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan
- Develop Resistance Management Plan and any required Extend plans
- Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance
- Support and engage leaders across the organization
- Coordinate efforts with individuals across other teams
- Track and report issues, success metrics, and progress
Key Qualifications
- Senior-level experience in change management, organizational transformation, or technology adoption initiatives
- Demonstrated experience supporting SaaS implementations, PMO transformations, or enterprise technology rollouts
- Strong background in process mapping, training and user enablement, and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
- Experience with project management platforms or similar tools (BirdView experience not required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups
- Comfortable delivering training and coaching in a hybrid, primarily virtual workplace
- Adaptable and able to quickly learn new technology and processes
- Strong relationship-building and facilitation skills
- Experience in not-for-profit or healthcare sectors is an asset but not required
- Bilingualism is not required; security clearance is not required
Compensation
Hourly Rate Negotiable
