ORIGNIX is a specialist advisory and delivery firm at the convergence of cybersecurity, physical security, information technology, operational technology, and engineered systems. We help organizations understand complex risk, strengthen resilience, and deliver the security, technology and infrastructure programs their critical operations depend on.

What you will do

You will join our engagement team in Calgary and own how organizations understand complex programs, what those programs mean for their people and operations, and how ready they are for what comes next.

Technologists, architects and business leaders shape and deliver the work. You determine what the rest of the organization needs to understand, when they need to understand it, and how best to prepare them.

The work moves quickly. Requirements shift, designs change, and decisions create current implications. You stay close enough to the work to recognize those implications early and act on them.

You will work directly with architects, business leaders and senior executives.

Your impact

- Anticipate. Recognize what changes and decisions mean for the people affected by them. Determine who needs to know, what they need to understand, and when.
- Translate. Draft clear, accurate communications, briefings and materials that turn complex technical and business work into something people can understand and act on.
- Equip senior leaders. Prepare executives to carry the message to their peers, teams and the wider organization. Give them the context and materials they need,



and be beside them when it matters.
- Build readiness. Understand what is changing for the people and teams who will depend on the work, and ensure they are prepared before those changes reach them.
- Connect the work. Work across technical, operational and business teams to recognize dependencies, impacts and gaps that may not be obvious from within a single workstream.
- Sustain momentum. Keep communication and readiness moving with delivery, so understanding keeps pace with progress and the organization can carry it forward after the engagement ends.

Your qualifications
- Experience leading communications and organizational readiness within complex enterprise programs, transformations or significant periods of change
- Strong judgment about what matters, who needs to know, what they need to understand, and when
- Ability to work where the answer is not yet fully formed, ask the right questions, and move the work forward without waiting for every development to become an assignment
- Ability to develop enough fluency in unfamiliar technical and business subject matter to communicate it accurately and credibly
- Ability to work across technical,



operational and business teams without needing the subject matter translated first
- Ability to follow a technical or strategic discussion as it develops, understand what it means for different audiences, and turn it into something a senior leader can use
- Proven credibility with senior executives and experience communicating across large organizations
- Experience preparing leaders and organizations for significant operational, technological or organizational change
- Experience with resilience, business continuity or incident-related programs is a strong advantage
- Experience in critical infrastructure, energy, industrial environments or another complex or regulated industry is preferred
