Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Core Java Developer / Development Lead with strong experience building high-performance trading applications within Capital Markets / FICC .

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of hands-on Core Java development experience , particularly with low-latency, multithreaded and real-time trading systems , along with strong knowledge of E-Trading, Algorithmic Trading, RFQ, Auto-Hedging, pricing and market data platforms .

This role will work closely with traders, quants, product control and operations teams while providing technical leadership across trading technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and enhance low-latency, high-performance Core Java trading applications .
- Lead technical delivery across FICC and E-Trading platforms .
- Develop solutions supporting FX, Fixed Income, Equities and Commodities .
- Build and enhance Algorithmic Trading, RFQ and Auto-Hedging systems .
- Design highly concurrent and multithreaded Java applications for real-time transaction processing.
- Develop and optimize pricing engines, market data feeds and trade processing systems .
- Work closely with traders, quants, Product Control and Operations teams.
- Translate trading strategies and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Improve application latency, scalability, reliability and throughput .




- Participate in architecture, design reviews, code reviews, testing and release management.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across development teams.
- Support the complete front-to-back trade lifecycle .

Mandatory Requirements

- 10+ years of Core Java development experience .
- Solid hands-on expertise in:
- Multithreading and concurrency
- Low-latency programming
- High-performance / real-time applications
- JVM performance optimization
- Strong Capital Markets experience with electronic trading systems .
- Experience with E-Trading and/or Algorithmic Trading platforms .
- Experience with RFQ and Auto-Hedging workflows .
- Strong knowledge of FICC products , including:
- FX
- Fixed Income
- Commodities
- Experience developing pricing, market data or real-time transaction processing systems .
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle and front-to-back trading architecture .
- Previous experience providing technical leadership or leading development teams.
- Strong communication skills with experience working directly with traders, quants and business stakeholders .
