Role Description

One of our client is looking for a Sr Data Analyst for a hybrid role in Montreal. In this role, you will collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights that projects for different clients.

Day-to-day tasks include designing and maintaining reports and dashboards, building data models, performing statistical analyses, and translating complex findings into explicit recommendations for stakeholders.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to experimentation and A/B testing, and help define data standards and best practices.



The role also involves mentoring junior analysts and supporting continuous improvement of data tools, processes, and documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills and proven experience in data analytics, including working with large, complex datasets.
- Proficiency in statistics and statistical methods for hypothesis testing, forecasting, and experiment design.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and building scalable data structures for reporting and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced skills in SQL and Python. Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- 3 years of experience in a similar role. We don't look at diplomas, but
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality practices, and working in cloud-based data environments (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) is an asset.
