What is the opportunity?We're seeking a hands-on lead Python expert with proven leadership experience who combines deep technical expertise in machine learning with a track record of leading development teams. You'll actively contribute to building and deploying highly scalable, intelligent applications while guiding a skilled team of developers. The team is responsible for designing, building, and rolling out AI-enhanced APIs and applications for critical RBC Security platforms and processes.What will you do?You will work in an Agile manner with our internal consumers, security architects, and collaborate with a team of developers to deliver applications and APIs for critical Global Security platforms and processes.Lead development teams through hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to integrate AI/ML capabilities into security automation initiativesDesign and build full-stack AI/ML-powered Cyber Security automation, writing production Python code and implementing ML models end-to-endDevelop and deploy machine learning pipelines for security analytics, anomaly detection, data validation and enhanced capabilitiesIntegrate security products, ML models and infrastructure componentsActive participation in group meetings to discuss technical design, decisions, implementation, problem solving and improvementsFollow internal standards and best practice to design and deploy secure, maintainable applicationsIntegrate security products with existing infrastructure and deployment pipelinesIntegrate applications with alerting, monitoring and reporting toolsWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have:Proven track record leading development teams7+ years advanced Python proficiency across multiple domains (front end/backend services, data pipelines,
